Pro snowboarder Brad Martin takes us on a trip from White Horse, Canada to Alyeska ski resort Alaska, driving the AWD Mazda CX-3 for Mazda Zoom Zoom magazine. With temperatures reaching well below zero, and only our trusty Ford pickup as a production base, the project provided a number of challenges. We knew before the outset that the cold temperatures would be an issue, and battery life would be severely affected. Never entering into a situation without thoroughly researching it, we were fully prepared. The results were majestic drifts of the Alaskan wilderness, featuring the Mazda CX-3 handling all that could be thrown at it.
